Job Charts For Kids - Make Your Own
Job Charts For Kids - Make Your Own
I think it's foremost to give your kids petite jobs to do nearby the house. It helps them feel like they are part of the house and it teaches them accountability and accountability. And it is our job as parents to put in order our children for life on their own.
The earlier you start the better. Even children as young as 2 or 3 can learn to clean up their toys when they're done playing with them. As they get older you can assign new tasks such as production their beds, setting the table, sweeping the kitchen floor, folding laundry, or raking leaves.
I propose using a job chart to help your kids remember which chores they are responsible for. This is especially helpful when you have more than one child and you want to rotate jobs every week or every month. You can find job charts for kids in market or online but most of them will run you at least -.
But I'm going to show you an easy way to make your own job charts for kids. And the best part is that you can let your children help put it all together so they feel more involved.
All you need is a small magnetic board (or bigger if you have a large family) that you can hang on a wall or door. Be sure to mount it at a height they can see easily.
Next get some magnetized company stickers (the kind used to turn company cards into magnets). Peel off the symbol and slap on any company card backwards so that the blank side is showing. On each card write down a chore. If you have younger children you can add a small photograph so they can form out which job each card represents.
Just add each child's name to the top of the chart and then you can move the job cards nearby as needed. I like to switch jobs every month to keep things fair.
That's all there is to production your own job charts for kids! And the best part is you can customize it and add new jobs any time you want.
